For solar projects where Pegasus’ InstaFlash and InstaFlash2 products are installed to a roof surface using Pegasus’ fasteners (together “InstaFlash Products”), Pegasus will reimburse up to $5000 in costs per project for repairing building damage caused by one or more roof leaks when and only when a claim is properly submitted through Pegasus’ online design software, Glide (a “Leak Claim”). Building damage may include drywall replacement, carpet replacement, painting, mold remediation, or similar remediation and restoration activities. To qualify for reimbursement, the following must be met:

1. The project must have been designed in Glide before the InstaFlash Products were installed (see: www.pegasussolar.com/glide);

2. InstaFlash Products shall have been installed in 0°F to 250°F ambient temperature and fully seated to roof on first use using the correct number of Pegasus’ fasteners required for the attachment span;

3. The roof leak must have occurred and been reported using the method described herein within 10 years of the InstaFlash Products being designed on Glide.

Claim Process:

Leak Claims must be fully submitted through Glide where the Purchaser will be required to upload pictures or videos of the leak, and all receipts for repair work including labor and materials costs of directly related and verifiable remediation and restoration activities.

Before a claim is approved, Pegasus reserves the right to require Purchaser to be on-site at the location of a roof leak (a “Site Visit”) for a Pegasus representative to join in-person or via video call with Purchaser. Purchaser shall provide 15-days prior written notice to Pegasus for scheduling the Site Visit. Leak Claim reimbursement amount is limited to one claim per project, as defined by a single project with one or more arrays created on Glide. Pegasus may offer up to $500 reimbursement for un-audited claims, such as if Purchaser is unable to provide receipts directly related and verifiable to the repair due to handling a small repair on initial site visit using in house labor and previously procured materials. If Purchaser elects to accept the Unaudited Claim Reimbursement, they relinquish all rights to further claims and damages against Pegasus with respect to any particular Leak Claim.

The foregoing is Purchaser’s sole remedy and Pegasus’ sole liability with regard to leaks related to or arising from a Pegasus product.
